E3 2018: 10 Heavily Rumoured Video Games We Want To See

9. Splinter Cell

Bully 2
Ubisoft

The next Splinter Cell is a long time coming. We haven't seen a new entry in this beloved franchise this whole generation, and Sam Fisher has been sorely missed.

If Ubisoft's relative silence on the whole matter is any indication, we could be seeing the return of Sam Fisher in the next year, with a possible announcement at this year's E3.

The appearance of Sam Fisher in Tom Clancy's Wildlands was received so positively that if Ubisoft weren't already working on the next entry in the series, they certainly are now.

Say Sam's cameo was nothing more than a boss battle or a few lines of dialogue, it wouldn't mean too much, but the fact they got Michael Ironside back to voice him and actually aged him up surely shows that something new is in the works. Sam even makes reference to a new mission, which could be a tease for the rumoured game.

Out of all of the possible games that Ubisoft could announce, this may be the one that people are wanting the most. Make it happen guys.
