Bethesda kicked off their show with an introductory video championing the diversity and creativity of the company, while promoting the idea that Bethesda is one big, happy family.
But do gamers really care much about this at all? Honestly, it seems hilariously disingenuous coming from a billion-dollar company, and it's so overly, unnecessary sincere that it evoked a cult-like vibe more than anything.
The kicker, though? The video ends with it being revealed that the voiceover woman is in fact the Bethesda "receptionist", who turns to the camera and says, "You can start the show!", while shooing the cameraman away.
If you watched this segment through splayed fingers, nobody could blame you. At least it was pretty brief.
