E3 2018: Every Missing Video Game

What's even the point if you're not showing off Splinter Cell?

E3 2018 has come and gone, and while there were certainly some impressive showings across every conference, it really was a year marked by its absences.

This was always going to be the case, given the ludicrous amount of rumours, leaks and more that emerged prior to the first conference. But still, even titles announced at last year's event failed to show up, with sequels to franchise favourites and hotly anticipated new IPs nowhere to be seen at any one of Microsoft, Sony or Ubisoft's conferences.

There were surprises aplenty of course, but this rumour-laden season has brought an air of anticlimax to gaming's most revered annual event. Fans had expected to see the likes of Sam Fisher, Mad Moxxie or even Superman grace the convention hall, but now, with the event winding to a close, minds now turn to other events in the calendar; San Diego Comic Con and Gamescom, it seems, represent the two best chances to see the titles that missed out on L.A .this June.

Even that can’t be guaranteed however, and with so many glaring omissions to choose from, it’s likely that the wait could get even longer…
