E3 2019: Nintendo Reveal Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Sequel

Hold us.

At the end of Nintendo's fun-filled E3 2019 Direct, Shinya Takahashi had one secret surprise left to unveil: a Switch sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The short trailer depicted Link and a newly French-braided Princess Zelda witness the birth of a fresh menace in the beautiful land of Hyrule - and so soon after finally putting Calamity Ganon to bed. God damn.

There wasn't a great deal more information beyond the fact that the sequel is currently in development. No release date was given, so we can presume it's still some way off.
