EA SPORTS UFC 2: 8 Reasons To Be Excited

For the first time ever, Ultimate Team has come to UFC...

The roar of the crowd, the anticipation of warriors locking horns, and the sweet taste of victory or bitter stench of defeat. All of those aspects belong in the world of Mixed Martial Arts, and they are all things gamers expect when picking up a video game dedicated to the medium. That's where EA SPORTS UFC 2 comes in, and the development house are making a lot of noise about their new title.

It appears EA SPORTS are keen to enhance what players experienced in the first title. Released in 2014, EA SPORTS UFC was the first UFC game on the current generation of consoles. Due to the power of the PS4 and Xbox One systems, people expect a whole lot of bang for their buck, and hope to actually feel like they're inside the Octagon with their chosen fighter. The first one delivered in a lot of areas, but EA clearly want to further entrench the series into not only MMA culture, but the minds of casual gamers too.

EA SPORTS UFC 2 will be released on March 15 in North America, with a March 17 release following in Europe. Even those who aren't hardcore fans of the UFC brand - or MMA in general - can rest easy with the knowledge that the new game should appeal to those who simply enjoy fighting games. Here are the main reasons why everyone should be excited.
