Every Generation Eight Pokémon Revealed So Far

See what Pokémon Sword & Shield has in store.

With every new Pokémon game, there is always excitement for what new elements Nintendo are bringing to the party. A brand new region, new and better graphics, and of course, new Pokémon themselves. Even now, for the eighth wave of these monsters, anticipation is through the roof.

Pokémon Sword and Shield were announced in February 2019, along with the three starter Pokémon choices, and new information has been trickling through ever since. Not only have we been shown a handful of new Pokémon from the Galar region, Nintendo have also announced the gigantamax versions of several 'mons as well.

Whereas every Pokémon in the game will have the ability to change into its dynamax form, only a select few will have gigantamax forms. In a similar way to mega evolution, this will heighten the beast's abilities and alter its appearance (as well as drastically increase its size).

While there are plenty more to come by the time the games are released in November, here are the 18 new Pokémon that have been announced so far, including the three gigantamax forms.
