The end is nigh.

With Sony recently confirming the first details of the PS5, most of all that it's targeting a 2020 release date, it bolsters the widely-held belief that the PS4 is indeed in its twilight era.

With the PS5 likely to debut by November 2020, it's fair to say that every major exclusive title for the PS4 has been announced, and over the course of the next year-or-so, they're all likely to land in players' laps. But which ones should you really have your eyes on?

To be clear, this list covers only fully exclusive PS4 games: not mere console exclusives nor games that are 99.8% likely to get released on another platform (such as Final Fantasy VII Remake and Nioh 2).

Oh, and they all actually need a decent chance of actually getting released before the PS5 comes out (sorry, Patapon 2 Remastered).

And so, we're left with 10 fully exclusive PS4 titles remaining, from card-carrying indies to years-in-development AAA blockbusters.

In some cases it's sensible to be sceptical and even a little suspicious, while in others the pedigree on offer is staggering enough that it's reasonable to give them a hefty benefit of the doubt.

Whatever the end result, these 10 games will define the end of the PS4's life cycle, and will (hopefully) send it out on one hell of a bang. But as of right now, here's how the hype-o-meter rates for each upcoming exclusive...
