Fallout 4: 10 Great Open World Games It Must Learn From

The genre GTA built has plenty to offer the Wasteland and all within it.

Fallout 4 is one of those mysterious next-gen games that - despite not yet being officially confirmed - seems to to have already found its audience. That's hardly surprising of course, given that the series has become one of the most-loved RPG franchises in gaming history. As with any series that bridges a generation gap however, there is an expected amount of concern as to just how well the game will live up to its audience's demanding expectations; the third instalment was a game that provided such excellence, Bethesda are going to have to strive for near perfection if they hope to satisfy their fans this time round. Fortunately, they've proved themselves to be a studio more than capable of delivering under the immense weight of expectation, and their continuously excellent work with their huge Elder Scrolls series surely provides enough reassurance that the series is in great hands. Still, just to be on the safe side, it seemed worthwhile offering up a recipe of some of the best open world games that Bethesda can take inspiration from as they look for ways to provide gamers with that perfect Fallout experience so sorely craved.
