Fallout 4: 5 Things That Will Happen (And 5 That Should)

Pack a bag, we're heading to the Commonwealth...

With a franchise as hugely loved as Fallout, it is a matter of inevitability that before anyone has confirmed if the title will even happen, a throng of varied rumours are being circulated speculating as to the specifics about the newest game. Expectations could scarcely be higher. When Fallout 3 was released in 2008 to near-universal acclaim it more-or-less reinvented the whole franchise, bringing the clunky isometric RPG into the modern era of gaming with a bang. If a similarly huge leap forward were made with Fallout 4 the resulting game would truly be one for the ages. Bethesda have always been known as a developer which likes to keep their cards so closely pressed into their chest that even they have forgotten what they're holding. They've never been known as a company which like to rush, and always taking their time to ensure the final product is of the highest quality. However, there is taking their time and then there is forgetting about a franchise entirely, and in recent times fans of the series have grown anxious that their beloved Fallout has been abandoned. Thankfully, in the last few months the rumour mill has become more active and we are finally beginning to hear of some speculation regarding the game's specifics. The primary issue is that with all this anticipation there exists a great deal of unconfirmed or poorly founded speculation and fairly little concrete fact. With E3 fast approaching we will hopefully soon have a clearer idea as to the true identity of Fallout 4. Until the most important 3-days of the gaming calendar commence, we have taken it upon ourselves to trawl through the spurious rumours, separating the fact from the fiction and telling you what we know for sure and what we wish we knew. Here are the 5 Things That Will Happen & 5 That Should Happen with Fallout 4:
