Fallout 4: 9 Ways You're Playing It Wrong

Did you know each companion has specific abilities?

Fallout 4 Review Like just about everyone on the planet, I've been playing Fallout 4 pretty much non-stop over the past few weeks. Shrugging off those pesky "responsibilities" that suck the fun out of everything, I've sunk a pretty decent amount of time into Bethesda's latest. But between talking to friends and colleagues about their experiences I've come to a conclusion: you're playing it completely wrong. Now, of course there's no real "wrong" way to play an RPG of this scale, but there are a few areas that people seem to completely overlook while they're out adventuring in the midst of the post-apocalyptic Commonwealth. I've been at fault here too; there's a couple of entries on this list that I had no idea about until I was 50 hours or so into the game, but ever since then my eyes have been opened. See, while Bethesda games let you do pretty much anything you want, the downside is they rarely ever make it entirely clear how you should best tackle certain tasks or interact with certain features. And if you're like me, this can lead to you playing in a rather narrow and short-sighted way. So, to make sure you get the most out of Bethesda's latest (and to not have the same regrets 50 hours in that I did) I've compiled 9 tips and tricks to make sure you have the definitive Fallout 4 experience.
