Fallout 5: 10 Things It Must Do Better Than 4

9. Fix The Third Person Animations

Fallout 5
Bethesda

This may be a longstanding problem with Bethesda games, but that doesn't excuse the fact that it's still a problem.

To give credit where it's due, it's pretty great that almost every Bethesda game allows you to go into third person. Despite that, it doesn't look very great when every single movement looks so wooden and lifeless.

Coming from Bethesda, one of the biggest developers out there, it's pretty embarrassing to see how awful some of the animations truly are. This isn't just a problem that's specific to third-person either, as many of the animations in general really need tuning up before they're featured in a brand new game.

Fallout 5 needs to either get rid of third-person mode or put a hell of a lot more effort into it. People like to have as many options as possible when they play the Fallout series, but if it ends up making the game look more lazy by comparison, it probably isn't worth it.
