Fallout 5: 13 Things We Want To See

12. A Longer Main Quest Line

Fallout 5
Bethesda

You certainly can't criticise the Fallout games for lacking content, though at the same time, it would be nice if the main quest line were a little more fleshed-out in future.

Bethesda knows that their fanbase loves to spend hundreds of hours exploring and soaking in this well-realised world, and in Fallout 4 in particular, they delivered a fairly bare-bones series of core quests that could easily be finished in around 10-15 hours.

Yes, you're missing the point if you try to just beast through a Fallout game without stopping to smell (and shoot) the roses, but it'd add even more meat on the game's bones if there were more in terms of main content, rather than relying on the tangential optional elements.

How Likely Is It?: Their current formula works pretty damn well (at least in terms of critical acclaim and sales), so don't count on it. 3/10
