FIFA 14: 10 Game-Changing Midfielders To Watch Out For

9. Henrikh Mkhitaryan

The Armenian Player of the year the past two seasons, Mkhitaryan left the confines of the Donbass Arena and Shakhtar Donetsk to become Borussia Dortmund's record signing at over $35 million. He has fit in seamlessly with the German giants, scoring twice in three games in the Bundesliga and leading Dortmund to the top of the table. Mkhitaryan was a major part of Donetsk's run to the Champions League Round of 16 last year (incidentally losing to his new employers Dortmund). His partnership with Fernandinho was especially inspired, as the more defensive Brazilian perfectly complemented Henrikh's offensive thrusts, allowing Mkhitaryan to notch 29 goals. Along with his two goals, Mkhitaryan's assist against Eintracht Frankfurt at the start of this season showed his ability to be involved in all facets of Dortmund's attack. Borussia Dortmund's offensive capabilities will make them a definite favorite for FIFA players this year. FIFA 13 Rating: N/A (Shakhtar Donetsk was not included)

A basketball player, but more of a soccer fan really. I once watched in horror as an errant Chris Sutton shot broke my teammate's sister's nose in warmups against Manchester United.
