FIFA 14: 5 Essential Improvements To Career Mode

1. More Realistic Player Disputes

fifacareer You can spot a player dispute coming a mile away in career mode in FIFA 13. There's an actual, scripted process. First, one of our players will demand more money, then, we can either oblige, and enter negotiations on a fresh deal, or we can simply do nothing. If we choose the former, the player will get in touch with us stating they don't want to stay at the club and will be reconsidering their future. If we choose the latter, our chairman will put the player on the transfer list! Either way, we have ourselves a player dispute, and you just know the in-game media are going to sink their teeth into that. It's an incredibly tedious and unrealistic process that needs revamping. It's made even more annoying by the fact the player will be unavailable to re-negotiate the terms of their contract while the dispute is ongoing, meaning we can't actively resolve the situation. Instead, we merely sit about waiting for them to make up their minds on their futures. I'd like to have more control over these disputes insteading of having to sit through a pre-scripted soap opera of events with only one outcome.
