8. Improved AI
One of the more notable improvements to the FIFA series this year is the vast improvement of the AI. The computer-controlled opposition has come on leaps and bounds from previous iterations in the series and now behave in a more sensible and realistic manner. For example, if you're playing as Everton and decide to take left-back Leighton Baines on one of his typical marauding runs into the box but lose possession, the opponent will exploit the space left behind in defence by counter-attacking. Opposing players can also nip in and take the ball off you if you have a lapse in concentration, making playing against the AI a more unpredictable experience. Throughout the pitch, you will see the AI making more intelligent decisions, from passing the ball through to locating your weaknesses and capitalising on them, which is impressive stuff.
