FIFA 15: 15 New Legends Ratings Predictions

15. Roy Keane

Predicted Rating €“ 86 Every time we see Roy Keane on television doing his punditry duties he seems incredibly moody, normally spouting his disdain at what the modern game has become and how far his United team has fallen. Perhaps now EA Sports have confirmed that Keane has become a Legend he will be rather less grumpy next season. With former teammate Gary Neville having been honoured as a Legend on FIFA a few years ago it seemed hugely surprising that Keane had €“ until FIFA 15 €“ been deemed unworthy. Keane was an ultra-aggressive central midfielder, the likes of which we are seeing less and less in the modern game with referees becoming increasingly petty. It was his domineering attitude that made him excel as Manchester United€™s captain from 1997 until his departure in 2005. During the years of Keane€™s captaincy United had some of the greatest seasons in the club€™s history; most notably the treble-winning 1998/99 season. Keane may now have turned his hand to managerial work having taken the assistant manager job at Aston Villa, but in his day he was a ruthless, unerring midfielder who would have some of today€™s players quivering in their garishly coloured boots.
