6. Gianluigi Donnarumma

Pay enough attention to Italian football and you'll know just how highly rated Gianluigi Donnarumma is. Widely tipped to be Gigi Buffon's permanent replacement in the national team, Donnarumma recently signed a new contract with AC Milan and is already the established #1 at the Serie A giants.

According to EA, he's not quite as good as Inter Milan keeper Samir Handanović. Start scratching your heads, because Donnarumma is rated a full 5 points less than the Inter man. Handanović is up at 87 overall, whereas the celebrated 18-year old from AC is 'only' at 82. That's impressive for a teenager, but it must annoy Donnarumma that the under-performing Handanović is so far ahead of him.

Check the stats and things get even more bizarre. Donnarumma has better diving and reflexes than Handanović. He's not quite as good at handling or positioning, according to the developers, and yet his kicking is also superior to the Inter stopper.
