8. Continue The Journey
The Journey was FIFA's first foray into a story mode and while it was absolutely not perfect, it was enjoyable and different enough to be considered an overall success.
In FIFA 18, EA will have the opportunity to improve upon its features and story, which was very much left open to continue. It would be nice to see what is next in the career of Alex Hunter and what new features EA Sports would add to the Journey. He could make his England debut, earn a move abroad to Europe and most importantly, give that pesky Gareth his comeuppance.
If EA Sports are feeling kind, they could even implement a player creation suite, whereby the user could create a footballer and play through their own career and story.
Whatever direction they take, the Journey must go on.
