Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg was a tremendous pickup in last year's game, and came with the potential to hit an overall rating of 88. This could be even higher in FIFA 18, as the Dane had a real breakthrough season with the Amsterdam club last year, notching 23 goals across 47 appearances in all competitions.
Manchester United have targeted Dolberg this summer transfer window, but both the player and his club have ruled out a move. This should make acquiring him in the game a whole lot easier: he'll still cost an eight-figure sum, but at least you won't need to wait until your second or third season before picking him up.
Dolberg is an extremely versatile player with a diverse range of attributes. A perfect combination of power and finesse, he's dominant in the air, but tidy with the ball at his feet and an excellent finisher. He's also very quick, meaning that no matter where you play Dolberg along your forward line, he'll do a good job. Still only 18 years old, the Danish international can occupy a spot in your XI for a long, long time.
