FIFA 18 is set to hit shelves next week, as the best selling football game of all time looks to up the ante and improve upon last season's effort. With the demo now released and being pretty positively received, excitement is building for fans of the series who are eager to get their hands on their favourite team.

One team bound to be popular this year is Manchester City, who after a host new summer signings should have one of the best squads in the game. The likes of Bernardo Silva, Kyle Walker, and Benjamin Mendy will all add quality to a side already brimming with ability.

The player ratings are now firmly the talk of the FIFA community as release day approaches, with EA's opinions on players always something which causes a stir.

Have they got it right with City? Is Aguero the main man? Let's take a look...

City went out in the summer to address their long standing goalkeeping problem and judging on the opening two months of the season, appear to have solved it in the form of Ederson Moraes.

Last season saw the calamitous Claudio Bravo do himself no favours following his move from Barcelona, with a plethora of errors costing City goals and points over the season.

Remarkably though, EA has seen fit to rank both Ederson and Bravo the same, at a decent rating of 83. This represents only a two point drop for Bravo, and Ederson himself will surely be disappointed if he takes any notice of FIFA ratings.

This one is bound to cause a stir among City fans, although it's unlikely we'll see many, if any, selecting Bravo in game.
