When FIFA 19's Career Mode begins, 20-year old Paraguayan attacking midfielder Sergio Díaz will have just returned from a loan spell at La Liga 2 side Lugo. That means he may be hard to prise away from the steely grip of Real Madrid, so offering a decent role in your squad and a modest wage boost may be the only way to convince him.

It's worth the investment, because early indications are that Díaz will have improved on the 67 overall rating he had in FIFA 18. As shown in the video above, he's graceful, dogged and will only get better.

Some YouTube sources have called Díaz the "new Sergio Agüero". Don't be put off by that premature comparison though, because the Madrid youngster is capable of turning into a South-American superstar after a few seasons of sustained training (particularly to his shooting and dribbling skills).

Best of all, he might not be as expensive as other attacking options on this list.
