Final Fantasy XV Release Date, Playable Demo & Film Announced

#UncoveredFFXV livestream revealed a lot of new information.

A decade in development is normally the sign that things aren't working correctly, but with Final Fantasy XV this is clearly not the case. The gameplay shown at the recent #UncoveredFFXV livestream from developer Square Enix shows that this time has, in fact, been well invested, making it one of the beautiful and intricate Final Fantasy games ever created. Not only will you be able to play Final Fantasy XV this year, as soon as September 30th in fact, but a playable demo is available right now on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The second playable tease to Final Fantasy XV, after 2015€™s Episode Duscae. A story trailer - which even featured a cover of Stand By Me from Florence and the Machine - showed our cast of characters switch in-between calm friendship bonding scenes to fighting giant monsters, as Square Enix announced a Deluxe and Ultimate Collector Edition of the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVrnS26mnCA The Deluxe Edition (prices at £69.99) comes with a bonus outfits, weapons and skins, as well as steelbook packaging. However, if fans are willing to make the jump to £189.99 for the Ultimate Collector's Editon - which will be limited to just 30,000 - they'll get all that, a hardcover book, an exclusive action figure, the soundtrack, four in-game item packs, and the exclusive final episode of Brotherhood Final Fantasy XV. Both editions are exclusive to the Square Enix Online Store. Brotherhood is an animated series which launched alongside the trailer, its first episode being available on Youtube now, whereas another animated feature named Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV is set to be a full length movie featuring Lena 'Cersei Lannister' Headey, and Sean 'Betcha I Die In This Too' Bean. Final Fantasy XV will be available September 30th for both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
