Football Manager 2016: 10 Ways To Make It More Realistic

10. Full Licensing

The most obvious improvement that Sports Interactive need to work on is finally tying up all of the necessary rights to several leagues such as the Bundesliga and the Japanese J-League as well as a selection of national teams. Gelsenkirchen and BMG are used in place of Schalke and Borussia Mönchengladbach, two of the German top flight's star teams. It doesn't make the game unplayable, not by a long shot, but in a game that constantly strives for realism, it would be nice to see some of the vast profits re-invested into fully licensing the game. Correct competition names, team logos and kits would also add to the realism, and although this can all be sorted through the FM Data Editor and various graphics available through FM communities, it would be great to see the changes implemented from the start.
