Today Rocksteady announced they would be giving away a free Batman: Arkham City skin for the Xbox 360, Ps3, and PC gamers. The free Batman Inc. skin will be available to download tomorrow on XBLA, PSN, and Windows Marketplace. Arkham City's director Sefton Hill on the forums wrote:
"We have had an amazing release of Batman: Arkham City and we wanted to thank you all for your incredible support before, during and after the game's release. As a token to our appreciation, we'll be offering a brand new, totally super sweet, Batman Inc. Batsuit skin absolutely free! You will be able to download the skin tomorrow from Xbox Live Marketplace, PlayStation Network and Games for Windows Marketplace. We'll be sure to let everyone know exactly when the skin are available."
In addition, Rocksteady is also offering a cheat code for free that allows you to use any of the alternative Batman skins in the single player at any time. Usually you can only use different Batman: Arkham City skins in "new game plus", but now people can use the skins anytime they want in single player. Hill:
"We also know you want to deliver justice on the streets of Gotham as Batman in your favorite skin, any time and all the time, So using the below cheat, you can select any alternative Batman skin and play them in the main game, without having to complete the full game."
To enter the code press the following button combination at the main menu, after you have selected a save file and you will here a sound cue if done correctly. You will then have the option to select what suit you wish to wear.
Left, Left, Down, Down, Left, Left, Right, Up, Up, Down
I can't wait to test the code out and wear my Batman The Animated Series suit in the game. What is your favorite alternative Bat suit in the game?
