If you've been following the gaming news over the past 24 hours, then you'll have read about the mystery surrounding The Witcher 2 becoming available for free on the Xbox 360 Marketplace, with some people attributing it to being one big, silly misunderstanding. Well, now we have confirmation that it in fact is entirely intentional, as CD Projekt RED have just announced that The Witcher 2 now works via backwards compatibility for the Xbox One, and that you can pick it up completely free from today right through to 5th February (12 am UTC).
