GTA 5 Release Date Announcement At Gamescom?

Event trailer suggests new information is incoming very soon

It seems that Grand Theft Auto fans might finally be getting some concrete news regarding the release date of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V, after a new promotional video for Gamescom 2012 featured the game. The trailer, which can be seen below includes information related to the event and its attractions, and within the first two minutes you can see a brief Grand Theft Auto 5 clip, which some are taking as confirmation that we're about to hear some more details about the release. The GTA V clip, which is taken from the first announcement trailer comes in at the 1:50 mark... http://youtu.be/DHZY4hefaJk Somewhat typically, there is no word from Rockstar who are yet to confirm whether the game will indeed be included, reports VG247, although publisher Take-Two do feature on the list of exhibitors. The game has been long-rumoured to be coming out in October, following a leaked developer CV which included that information, but fans and industry experts have been left to speculate as to the real date of release. Hopefully, this speculation will come to an end with a Gamescom announcement, though Rockstar will presumably continue their current trend of keeping their mouths firmly shut on any game information - fuelling fan excitement even further with their spartan marketing campaign. Here's the game's official synopsis:
Developed by series creator Rockstar North, Grand Theft Auto V heads to the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside and beaches in the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created. A bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission-based gameplay and online multiplayer, Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a re-imagined, present day Southern California.
