GTA III Coming to App Store

Now you can pick up those lowly women of the night from the comfort of your iPad.

For some reason no-one is taking about this, but Grand Theft Auto III is coming out for the iOS App store and Android Marketplace next week. The epic urban adventure will take us back to the old skool liberty city of 2001, playing as that mute guy in the leather jacket. Perhaps with all the talk of GTA V this release might go under the radar of most gamers, if thats not you check out the trailer. Grand Theft Auto III: 10 Year Anniversary Edition will cost a bargin bin price of £2.99 and will be available from the 15th of December, just in time to be stuffed into istockings and bring a tragic tear to Santas eye, as he realises he is out of a job. In 2001 the original introduced gamers to the sprawling open worlds of GTA in a 3D setting, on the super popular Playstation 2.

But a world of warning to those who are over excited by the prospect of sniping innocent bystanders from there iPhone; if you have anything before the iPhone 4 (keep up Granada) you won't have the graphical capabilities to run this bad boy.
