GTA Online: 10 Reasons It Was A Huge Disappointment

Was the ridiculously ambitious GTA Online always doomed to disappoint?

There's little arguing with the fact that Grand Theft Auto V was easily one of the best games of the last generation of gaming, a sprawling crime epic that delivered on all of its promises: a thrilling story, insane missions, and it featured quite possibly the best character in the entire series by way of redneck oddball Trevor Philips. However, GTA V itself is really only half the story, as perhaps even more anticipated than the single-player offering was its multiplayer component, the ridiculously ambitious GTA Online, which launched 2 weeks after the single-player game on October 1st. It's now four months later, and in the eyes of many, GTA Online was a great idea that nevertheless fumbled its execution, resulting in a considerable disappointment. Some will argue that because the game is "free" we shouldn't be able to complain all that much, but it's still frustrating that Rockstar haven't allowed the game to reach its full potential because of these 10 reasons. Do you still play GTA Online? Or were you turned off by the early hiccups? Let me know in the comments!
