GTA V: 10 Predictions That Will Come True

9. It€™ll Win Back The Sceptics

The whole Arcade vs. Realism argument is still, and has been for years, a massively contested topic when fans discuss the GTA franchise. Some are adamant that the series was better when it was crazier; when it was more interested in insanity than realism (and if the sales figures are anything to go by, it looks like these guys are winning the argument). Others insist that realism is the way forward; after all, when driving mechanics are difficult, pulling something spectacular out of the bag is all the more satisfying. I think Rockstar, the clever devils that they are, will have been monitoring these arguments, as well as their previous sales figures (both San Andreas and Vice city outperformed GTA IV in terms of sales, don€™t forget) and will have looked to address both parties in GTA V. In all honesty, I think we€™re looking at a €˜split the difference€™ type deal, where Rockstar have attempted to appease both sides by toning down the realism and toning up the madness. As a result, I predict that those who are sceptical about this newest GTA will be wrestled back from the brink of franchise apathy, and not a moment too soon.
