GTA V: 25 Radio Stations That Should Be Included

5. Custom Radio

Example name: Personal FM

This feature has yet to materialize in a console GTA outside of the Xbox version of San Andreas, but I'd bank on its involvement this instance. There were grumbles from the community when IV didn't include the ability to import your own personal music collection from the hard drive, while PC users have readily been able to do so since 2002. Alternately, and with just as much potential, is fabricating a playlist containing all your favourite tunes from the disc a la Saints Row The Third.

6. Alternative Rock

Example name: Vinewood Radio Alternative rock (interchangeably also acknowledged as indie rock) is probably the principal mainstream music genre on the planet at the moment and its inclusion would be an effortless nod at today's culture. San Andreas' Radio X witnessed the birth of alt rock and the rise of grunge and Britpop, while IV capitalised on the post-punk revival. With no evolution since, you'd expect to see more of the same with famed California bands like Queens of the Stone Age and Eagles of Death Metal alongside the quirky electro rock of lesser recognised artists. Playlist suggestions: The Transplants €“ Diamonds and Guns Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks Foster the People - Helena Beat Rev Theory - Hell Yeah The Temper Trap - Fader Queens of the Stone Age - 3's & 7's Cage The Elephant - Ain't No Rest Kasabian - Fire Eagles of Death Metal - Don't Speak The Black Keys - Lonely Boy The Decemberist - Valerie Plame Band of Skulls - Death By Diamonds and Pearls Mumford & Sons - Little Lion Man Chances of inclusion: 75%

7. Surf Rock

Example name: Beachboard Radio

If surf music is ever going to be introduced to the series then this will presumably be the occasion. Even being long past its peak popularity in the 60s, it remains synonymous with southern California and its surfing culture. I don't suppose there will actually be any adventure of hitting the waves in the game, be it the player or AI, but if you can't fathom the cool sensation of cruising to the reverberating guitars of surf instrumentals then I suggest you re-watch Pulp Fiction.

Playlist suggestions: The Chantays - Pipeline The Trashmen - King of the Surf John Fortune - Soul Surfer The Shadows - Apache The Revels - Comanche Crossfires - Fiberglass Jungle The Lively Ones - Malibu Run Pyramid - Penetration The Surf Coasters - Hava Nagila The Ventures - Diamond Head The MelTones - Curl Rider Stomp Dick Dale & His Del-Tones - Banzai Washout The Challengers - Surf-Ari The Tornadoes - Bustin' Surfboards Chances of inclusion: 70%
