GTA V: 5 Reasons Why It Doesn't Need Cheat Codes

1. The Whole Map Is Unlocked From The Start

gtahitch One final reason to cheat in GTA games of old was to complete the game as easily as possible and with it unlock other areas of the map to explore. One of the main things that used to irk me the most was getting stuck on a mission that would unlock another island, and so, ashamedly, I turned to cheat codes - simply because I wanted to beat that mission and unlock that new area. But missions appear to be optional now and, much like in Bethesda's Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, can be ignored in favour of just exploring the expansive map instead. Yes, the whole map is free for gamers to wander through from the get-go, a first in the GTA series. That essentially means it isn't the end of the world if you get stuck on a mission, because doing so no longer effects your overall enjoyment of the game, as used to be the case. And for that reason, and all the others mentioned here, we do not need cheat codes in GTA V. What do you think? Do you want cheats in GTA V? Share your thoughts in the comment section, below.
