GTA V: 5 Reasons Why The Delay Isn't Such A Bad Thing

5. It's Worth Waiting For

282553-3393_gta_iv_artwork_jacob_spliff_super Grand Theft Auto V is pretty much a nailed-on winner for 2013 Game of the Year, few can argue with that. It has already been tipped to outsell the next Call of Duty title and ever since the release of the first trailer for the game way back in November 2011, the internet has been awash with rumour, speculation and fanfare to the point of hysteria as gamers waited with baited breath for whatever slither of information Rockstar would offer us (which for about a year turned out to be not very much). Let's face it, before Rockstar revealed that the game would be hitting shelves in the Spring, the majority of us would probably have taken an early-fall release date. The only reason why any of us are annoyed is because it means waiting an extra four months, and really, what's another four months? Let's look at the facts. GTA is going to be bigger than the worlds of Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto IV combined, and will feature more vehicles than in any GTA to date. That's a huge commitment to make on Rockstar's behalf and really, we should exercise a little more patience with them as a result. Complaining about the delay is not too dissimilar to saying to God - "What, it took you a whole six days to create the Earth? What do you mean you took Sunday off?
