GTA V: 5 Recurring Features From San Andreas We'd Love To See Return

5. Random Plane Crashes

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_va4kua78A Anyone who has ever spent even the slightest amount of time traversing the countryside of San Fierro, or exploring the rocky climbs of Mount Chilliad will attest to the fact that plane crashes were an all too prevalent feature in San Andreas. You'd bear witness to at least one plane crash every half hour, such was the erratic and random nature of the incidents, and sometimes, as the video above shows, Rustlers could fall out of the sky at any given moment, even in mission cut scenes. Sometimes, this became an irritating and unrealistic feature in the game, particularly if you were waylaid by the smouldering wreckage of a burnt out plane shell in traffic while trying to get somewhere in a hurry, but more often than not, the crashes made for a humorous addition to the game. We know that planes are back in GTA V, and we've seen a screenshot of Franklin chasing down a stricken jet on a motorbike, so perhaps plane crashes will become a prominent feature in GTA V in the same way they did in San Andreas. They might even tie in with the new randomised dynamic mission system that's making its appearance in the game - perhaps we will have to rescue a pilot from a burning plane before it explodes - just a thought.
