1. It's All About The Characters
While Rockstar's devotion to character development is well documented, the fact that GTA V has three protagonists sort of clinches it. This is going to be the most character-driven GTA game yet, and going by the dialogue-dense trailers, it seems like there's going to be a lot to follow. As long as the developers can balance the plot with some scintillating action - which, from the Franklin trailer alone, it seems like they absolutely have - then this might easily be the best and most involving game in the entire franchise. Rather than having one protagonist to look out for, we have three, as well as their separate relationships with exterior characters, and then their relationships with each other and the mutual acquaintances they have. Rockstar's ambitious decision opens the world up even larger, and should make for the most complex, invigorating game in the series. I can't wait. What did you think of the new trailer?
