GTA V Sucks: 11 Responses To The Most Ludicrous Reviews

Grand Theft Auto V As if it needed confirming explicitly, GTA V is a wonderful game. Despite the fact that you face hours of walking around between boosting cars, and that there seems to have been a conscious effort not to encourage as much wanton criminality in the open world Basically everyone across the globe is united in their appreciation of the game: from the top level critics who revel in their self-annointed importance, and financially reassured egos, right down to the most disconnected of franchise gamers who pick up only Fifa and COD every year. But if you scroll long enough through the user reviews on Metacritic and elsewhere, and look beyond and between the full marks and the near full marks, there are clearly a small, but horribly vocal minority committed to ripping the game to shreds. Not content with simply criticising, pulling Rockstar on the perceived flaws, and deducting points from the top down, these flaming trolls and disaffected malcontents want you to know exactly how terrible GTA V really is. So, who are we to ignore their ravings? ...No matter how insane they clearly are.

Honourable Mention

Grand Theft Auto V - Heist Thanks to some delivery issues, and a perceived lack of general interest in their Prime customers in particular, Amazon managed to upset a good portion of GTA fans who had pre-ordered the game with them by failing to actually send out the game on release. A simple, honourable request by the buyers, which was unfortunately not met, and has lead to users taking to the Reviews section of the game to hand out some damaging 1 star reviews, which actually only reflect the quality of the service as opposed to the game. Here's one such example, from one Jim Rickards:
"After not receiving my game on the 17th I have been in contact with amazon customer services numerous of times. They have told me that when I purchased GTA V that it was not in stock, however this was not stated at all before I purchased the game. Today I find out that I may be receiving the game as late as the 17th of october (over 1 month late!). The customer service team try there best but can barely speak english and from what I've experienced rely on pre-written "copy and paste" sentences. Over the past 3 days I've been told about ten times when I placed my order - thank you but I know when I places my order... I was there! I've been on hold now for about 20 minutes on customer service chat. It's safe to say that I have given up and surrendered to this terrible company. I will never be pre-ordering games off of amazon ever again. They have offered me no form of compensation just a copy and pasted apology, I have never been so insulted in my life."
Considering how annoying their circumstances, these people can probably have a pass.
