GTA V: "The Shed" And 5 More Myths & Legends We Want To See

5. Aliens

Lil Probe InnGrand Theft Auto San Andreas put quite a big emphasis on the paranormal back in 2004, especially when it came to aliens. A number of characters, locations, pedestrians and even missions were employed to develop the myth that there was something "strange in the skies". One of the best examples of this is Area 69. Situated in Bone County, Area 69 is a spoof of Area 51 and a cheeky reference to a certain sexual position. It featured in the mission "Green Goo" in which the game's protagonist, Carl Johnson, had to retrieve a "strange substance" using a jetpack, and was one of the more mysterious aspects of the game. Players would obtain a six-star wanted level just by flying over it, while inside dwelt mysterious government agents apparently performing autopsies on alien cadavers. But the UFO references didn't end there. One of the game's main characters was "The Truth", an alien-obsessed nut hell bent on unveiling conspiracy theories, while at night time, glowing orbs could be seen in the sky. There was even an Inn with a UFO statue outside which when entered contained photographs of spaceships. Now that we're returning to Los Santos with GTA V, we'd like to see the "UFO Myth" expanded upon, and we hope that some of the zany structures featured in 2004's rendition of San Andreas are still there come September.
