Injustice 3 Teased In Mortal Kombat 11 DLC

The Joker speaks.

NetherRealm are still focused on supporting the incredibly popular Mortal Kombat 11, but that hasn't stopped the studio - and specifically fighting game legend Ed Boon - from teasing a new instalment in their other hugely successful franchise.

The latest DLC fighter added to MK is The Joker, who's also appeared in the two Injustice games released so far. However, a unique piece of dialogue that occurs when the Clown Prince of Crime faces off against himself has seemingly teased a third instalment. Before the bout begins, one Joker says to the other: "Just the two of us? That's an injustice!". The second Joker replies: "Imagine what we could do with a third!"

Subtle.

As he's want to do, Ed Boon took to Twitter to comment on the video, and very sarcastically told his follows, "PSA: This Joker dialog is not hinting at anything related to Injustice. Any reference is purely coincidental."

Boon has a history of teasing projects on social media months before they're announced, but hopefully this does mean that an official announcement for Injustice 3 is coming sooner rather than later.
