Jedi Fallen Order: 10 Star Wars Games EA MUST Make Next

9. The Force Unleashed III

The story of Darth Vader's secret apprentice and his journey from the darkness to the light made the original Force Unleashed game a must-have for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360.

The sequel, released in 2010, took a more personal approach to its game play, but divided critics despite selling incredibly well.

As a result of the 2012 Disney buyout, LucasArts (LucasFilm's in-house publisher), was closed. Many projects that LucasArts were working on were scrapped, including a third instalment of The Force Awakens. However, unlike many of the cancelled games, we actually know a fair bit about this one.

Haden Blackman, who oversaw both of the Force Unleashed games, stated in an interview that concrete plans for a third game had been made. He described the project as more of an "open world" with Vader and his apprentice teaming up to take on the Emperor.

Now that sounds like something people would want to play.

The Force Unleashed is a recognisable franchise that still has a lot of appeal. The fact that a story for the game already exists is even more reason for EA to dust off those old plans and start work on completing this trilogy.
