9. World Themed Command Menus
The brand new trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 finally revealed that world-themed command menus will be returning from Kingdom Hearts 2.
Kingdom Hearts 2 introduced the idea that each world has it's own unique command menu design, and although it didn't affect the gameplay, it did make each area feel a lot more unique and lively.
Every other trailer since the reveal of Kingdom Hearts 3 has shown the command menu to be in the default style, akin to the original Kingdom Hearts, but the D23 trailer clearly shows how far in development the game has come as all three of the revealed worlds so far now have their own command menu based on elements from their respective films.
This can be seen all throughout the trailer, with the Monster's Inc command menu featuring the iconic doors and scream canisters, whilst the Tangled world has Rapunzel's hair flowing around the deck.
Considering that this is a pretty minor detail from the second game, it's pretty great to see it returning.
