KINGDOM HEARTS 3 News!

We have been waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3 for a long time, the spin-off games are fun but we really want the full sequel that Tetsuya Nomura has been talking about for six years now.

Famitsu conducts an interview with Tetsuya Nomura one of the lead directors at Square Enix; right now working on Final Fantasy Versus. However, he is also one of the main people behind the Kingdom Hearts series and will most likely be responsible for any Kingdom Hearts project going forward. During the interview Tetsuya Nomura mentioned that Kingdom Hearts 3D could be the final set up game before we see Kingdom Hearts 3. He was also quoted as saying:

"KHIII will be the last game for the series' main antagonist, Xehanort. But that won't mark the end of the franchise. Apparently a framework is already in place for future sequels, with Sora retained as the main character."
So even though Tetsuya Nomura and Square Enix have yet to start work on Kingdom Hearts 3, they have already planned out future sequels involving the main character Sora. It could be a while before we see any of those sequels of course, considering it has been six years and Kingdom Hearts 3 is not yet in production. I have been waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3 for a long time, the spin-off games are fun but I really want the full sequel that Tetsuya Nomura has been talking about for six years now, and they haven't even started production on it. It is becoming frustrating because they will not start production on Kingdom Hearts 3 until Final Fantasy Versus is released, which more than likely will not be out until next year. We may not actually see Kingdom Hearts 3 until the next generation of consoles, and this dissappoints me because I want to see a Kingdom Hearts game created in HD graphics. Speaking of which, Tetsuya Nomura also mentions they are looking into the technology to put past titles in HD, so we may get the Kingdom Hearts series redone in HD hopefully. Are you still waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3 like me or have you moved on and just don't care until they actually release the game?
