Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning Tops UK Chart

This is the first time since last year when Dead Island was released that a new IP tops the charts.

sales chart for the past week just gone. According to retail analyst Chart Track, Kingdoms of Amalur debuted as the number one selling game this past week. In addition, this is the first time since last year when Dead Island was released that a new IP topped the charts; and you have to go all the way back to 2000 to find a original RPG that finished atop the sales chart in the UK. The Darkness II did pretty well sales wise as well coming in at number three last week in sales, Final Fantasy XIII-2 fell one spot to number two. I am playing the game right now and can tell you it is a lot of fun and to say the game is huge is an understatement. For reference I have only traveled past half the first continent in the game and have spent 20 hours doing nothing but side quests and blacksmithing. Kingdoms of Amalur is available now on PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
