Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time - 10 Things Worse Than The Water Temple

It's about time the infamous dungeon got cut some slack.

If you€™d ask any player of Ocarina of Time what their least favourite part of the game was, a significant portion would probably tell you it was the Water Temple - the sixth dungeon. Without a walkthrough telling you where to go it€™s very easy to get lost, as there were three floors (and a basement) with no stairs to travel between them. Rather, there were switches that raised and lowered the water level of the temple, and these weren€™t so easily accessible. The dungeon received so much negative backlash that it was made easier for the 3DS remake in 2013, which included coloured paths leading to the locations players needed to proceed. Even though the Water Temple is reviled for its level design, it presented a decent amount of challenge that gave the player a great sense of accomplishment when it was all over. It was certainly the hardest part of Ocarina of Time, but it wasn€™t necessarily the worst part of the game. In fact, there were 10 other aspects of the game that would be seen as worse, either by sheer annoyance or tediousness. Although it seems incredibly silly to put a 'Spoiler Alert' on a game that was released 17 years ago and re-released two years ago (If you've somehow not played this game, remedy that immediately), it's worth noting spoilers for Ocarina follow.
