Mass Effect 5 Wishlist: 10 Major Risks Bioware MUST Take

9. Anthem’s Flying

The players, the developers and everyone else connected to BioWare may want to seal Anthem in a vault (and throw the vault into the sun), but it needn’t be all doom and gloom.

The flying in the game was spectacular, and surely needs to be salvaged even if Anthem never sees the light of day again.

There’s certainly improvements to be made. The overheating system could probably be done away with all together, but if not needs to work much slower so as not to roadblock your fun unnecessarily.

The ease with which you can completely miss huge sections of the map needs tweaking too, but that might be more to do with how empty Anthem felt and forcing you to return to base after each mission.

At its heart though, the flying was a blast, offering a unique experience and standing head and shoulders above everything else as the best thing in Anthem. Borrowing anything from that game will surely be a risk, considering the bridges (and consoles) burned.

It definitely fits Mass Effect’s aesthetic, and it would be a real shame to see it disappear.
