Mass Effect: Andromeda - 10 Core Improvements Fans Haven't Considered

Did you really have to be Paragon or Renegade?

The Mass Effect titles were some of the biggest hits of the last generation, with BioWare's incredibly deep, rich sci-fi world-building capturing the hearts of many players, as well as competent, intense combat and a slew of characters that we actually wanted to care about all making for a truly memorable experience. A shaky ending aside, Shepard's exploits will forever remain in gaming history, but now it's time for the next hero to take the stage and drag the series into a new era; one with better graphics, bigger worlds, and even more awesome aliens. However, in recent years, many AAA titles have become a bit too predictable and generic - Watch Dogs for example was overhyped to oblivion and back, but it turned out to be just a standard sandbox with a hacking gimmick, and never lived up to the expectations Ubisoft generated for it. Andromeda needs to avoid becoming "Just another Mass Effect", and BioWare has to take the lessons it learned from the first three games, expand on them, and make the newest instalment as memorable and compelling as we'd previously come to expect. As with any series that makes a reappearance after a fairly lengthy break, there are plenty of interesting, innovative and unorthodox ways to better the originals that would be welcome additions for the new kid on the block. It's just a matter of finding the best to include.
