Max Payne 3: Local Justice Pack Impressions

Weapon Breakdown

The M4 Assault Rifle is simply another assault rifle in your arsenal. While it definitely has it's benefits, it isn't an extravagantly impressive display of firepower. The rifle has one of the lowest damage rates, but makes up for this with a hefty fire rate and ammo capacity. Accuracy also isn't a very large issue, especially when you're burst firing like a pro. Long distance shooting can get tricky due to the fairly significant damage fall off. Should you decide to engage an enemy long range be sure you're burst firing. Once you unlock the attachments you'll be in great shape. Oh, that's right, attachments. Here's the full list, and their weapon lvl unlock: Compensator (Lvl 2) Extended Mag (Lvl 3) Silencer (Lvl 4) Gas block (Lvl 5) Gas Systems Kit (Lvl 6) Mag Guide (Lvl 7) Barrel Upgrade (Lvl 8) Red Dot Sight (Lvl 9)

Gearing Up

The Light Fingers equipment item is perfect for those of you grinding to get your corpse lootin' achievements. Light Fingers drastically decreases the time it takes for you to completely degrade your fallen enemies by picking up their supplies and cash. I put this on my CQC class, and it works wonders after I've introduced them to the end of my shotgun barrel. We all deserve to pick up our hard-earned, and stolen, $50 2-3 seconds faster. Hey, if they were quicker on the draw, it wouldn't be an issue.

New Faction Action

Sao Paulo's finest, are the brand new Faction made playable with Local Justice. It really makes perfect sense. A Local Justice pack, the local police for- well, I'm sure you get it. While it's great to see Rockstar including new Factions to play as, they really don't bring anything new for your avatar. Many of the customization options feel very similar to the UFE Faction. If you aim to make your character look like a hard-boiled detective you're looking in the right direction. Yet, it feels as if they need to add more variety into the customization options. Rockstar is certainly offering new pieces, but in the end, it feels just a little limited. Even including 2-3 more options for each aspect of clothing on your avatar would do nicely to round it all out. Maybe in a future DLC. All in all, Rockstar's first DLC pack offers enough for multiplayer fans to be excited. They've added at least one new item to almost everything in their multiplayer section of the game, and bring new maps to the mix which are always welcome. If you haven't been jumping into the online battle you will most likely not find anything new to change your mind. Local Justice Pack simply provides more ammunition for a loaded gun. http://youtu.be/QJlPu2pQ_8I What are your thoughts on the Local Justice Pack?
