Metal Gear Solid V: 8 Reasons To Be Concerned

image_metal_gear_solid_v_the_phantom_pain-22272-2584_0001 Metal Gear Solid is one of the most popular and beloved series of all time, and Hideo Kojima has been teasing us with the latest entry in the award-winning series for over a year now. It all started with the reveal of Ground Zeroes at PAX 2012, and then the reveal at the VGAs of the mysterious and supposed new IP titled simply The Phantom Pain. The veil was finally removed at the Game Developers Conference in March of this year, where Kojima officially revealed that Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain together will make up Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. For the legion of fans of this series, we were left in awe of what we witnessed in that trailer, as well as what was shown at E3 several months later. Conspiracy theories began to circulate that David Hayter would actually return as Big Boss and that Kiefer Sutherland was just a diversion, that Punished Snake was not actually Big Boss. Personally, I feel that Kojima was sitting in his office laughing hysterically at what Metal Gear Solid 2 had done to all of our psyches. Most recently, there was a gameplay demo shown behind closed doors of Ground Zeroes, and the feedback that was shared by those at the event was, let's say, somewhat concerning to fans. Over the past week, at the Tokyo Games Show, Kojima did reveal several gameplay demos for the public to see. This was the first time he has shown what the next-gen version of Metal Gear Solid V will look like. I figured this was as good a time as any to try and look forward to the eventual release of the game, and why the game could potentially disappoint when we finally get our hands on it. I want to make it known that I don't necessarily believe this will happen, but there are definitely some issues that could plague the game.
