Modern Warfare 4: 10 Things We Want

9. Vehicles

Granted, this one's a bit risky given that it has sunk the multiplayer of more than a few great games. The last time we saw balls-out vehicular combat on a Call of Duty game was World at War, the controversial World War II follow-up to the original Modern Warfare. Players could control tanks and so on in selected maps, making for some fun, destructive combat, though in recent games which tend to have smaller maps, one can appreciate why they don't figure. Given how prominently vehicles feature in the cut-scenes and single-player set-pieces, though, it's surprising that they haven't been really introduced into the contemporary and future-set CoD games beyond remote-control cars and the such like. If Infinity Ward can introduce it in a balanced manner, then it's something we'd love to see for Modern Warfare 4, if employed on select maps, and perhaps giving players the choice to toggle them on or off, as sometimes mano-y-mano combat is just more what we're in the mood for.
