NBA 2K16: 10 Teams Who Should Receive A Stat Boost

Who can you most easily beat your mates with come September?

The release of NBA 2K16 is just over a month away, and - thanks to the involvement of Spike Lee - promises to be one of the most exciting instalments yet. But Hollywood movie directors aside, one of the most anticipated aspects of a 2K game remains the player and team ratings. The subject of endless and heated debate, ratings can shape a fan's entire opinion of the game, transforming it into either an ultra-realistic simulation or a target of derision. 2K16 has a lot of changes to make after one of the most landscape-changing seasons (and offseasons) in recent NBA history. The 2015 Finals were contested between a pair of teams with just three championships between them, the last coming in 1975, while the formerly great LA Lakers slumped to a league-worst record of 21-61. The 2015 draft saw one of the most hotly-debated, talent-packed classes in years, and free agency resulted in the usual scramble for overpriced stars and ageing legends. The fallout of all this in NBA 2K16 is that some teams are set to improve rapidly, not necessarily those who enjoyed the best season last year. Here are the ten teams who should improve most when the next instalment of the 2K franchise hits the shelves in September.
