New RPG Announced from Witcher 2 Producer

Tomasz Gop announces brand new RPG in conjunction with new studio Deck13.

A new RPG was announced today from Tomasz Gop former senior producer for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings called "Project RPG". Tomasz Gop who has moved on from CD Projekt RED will be producing the game from his new studio Deck13; the game will be published by City Interactive. The games fighting style is said to be inspired by Dark Souls, Kingdoms of Amalur and Batman: Arkham City; and enemies will be recognizable "not by their appearance but their behavior and fighting style." The game is set 1,000 years after the death of a god whose massive body splits the world into two major factions. You apparently will be given the choice of which faction you want to side with early in the game.
" the action role-playing game will focus specifically on player skill to progress forward, with a story that is designed to be mirror users' own actions and playstyle through its vision and ideologies."
So it also sounds like our actions and choices may affect the story as it progresses foreword, which is something The Witcher 2 did exceptionally well. The game is still early in it's development cycle and is schedueled for a release in 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Not much else is known about the game other than the one piece of artwork pictured above. However, I will say that it does sound exciting because I love RPG's where my actions change the story as I move forward; hopefully we will hear more about the game in the near future.
