Overwatch: Ranking Every Seasonal Event From Worst To Best

While it is a slight upgrade from Anniversary, the Lunar New Year event was also far from Overwatch's best.

There were some great skins to be unlocked, but half of those in the epic tier looked exactly the same, just on different characters. Fortune Mercy, rose Tracer, and tal Ana stood out from the rest, but the latter also didn't look particularly good. To the event's credit though, a bit more effort went into the legendary skins, which were also solid.

Plus, it's clear that a lot of work went into capturing the mood and culture of Chinese New Year with these new skins, as well as the decorations, so kudos to Blizzard in that respect.

However, while this event did bring a special game mode to the table, it was simply a festive reskin of Capture the Flag, which is already nearly unplayable in Overwatch thanks to the great many players who tend to quit as soon as the opposite team scores and condemn their own side to failure. And while you really can't fault Blizzard for how their players behave, that didn't make it any less annoying.
